Company History
Kingdom Energy was established in the United Kingdom in October 2019.
The main shareholders are United Renewables Limited composing the management team and Shanghai Electric Group, one of the largest companies in the world engaged in design, manufacture and distribution of electric power generation equipment and EPC contracting services.
The company's goal is to become a business bridge that crosses cultural barriers and allows Chinese capital and industrial capacity to enter the world renewable energy market.
Collaborative innovation in Renewable Energy
The company works closely with not only Shanghai Electric Group but also other large Chinese companies for investment and renewable energy services in Europe, Middle East and other markets. The company’s goal is to become a business bridge that crosses cultural barriers and allows Chinese capital and industrial capacity to enter the world renewable energy market.
Renewable Energy Project Milestones
With the strong support of Shanghai Electric Group, the company has developed solar projects of 2GW from 2019 to 2022, mainly in the UK, Italy and Canada. 80% of these projects have been sold to European investment funds and utility companies. Starting from 2023, together with partners and affiliated companies, Kingdom Energy has accumulated another 1.6GW of photovoltaic and wind power project portfolio, across the countries of United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, Romania and Poland.
